Minibus driver - for ski and snowshoe tours in Tromsø (only day time work)

Work responsibilities:

• Driving minibus (16 seats + driver), transporting guests who shall join snowshoe, cross country ski trips, and snow-related activities in Tromsø area, mostly 2 to 5 hours "soft adventure" tours. Most of the tours are within Tromsø and during day time.

  Tromsø Outdoor's goal is to bring people closer to nature, share our everyday life, and introduce our guests to outdoor activities and the Arctic ways of life.

• Taking care of the equipment and cars used during the activities.

• Occasionally work at Tromsø Outdoor Activity and Rental Center renting out skis, snowshoes, and winter clothes, equipment maintenance, deliveries.

  
  

For interested candidates we can offer work consisting of both - working as a driver and a guide, but it is not a condition of work on this position.

Position Requirements:

• Driving licence D or D1 and valid YSK course.

• Good English spoken proficiency is necessary for the position.

• Relevant professional experience as a driver.

• Enjoying and keen to work in a flexible international environment.

• Valid permission to work in Norway or EU/EOS citizenship.

• Positive, creative, and solution-oriented attitude.

• Experience in driving in icy and snowy conditions.

  
  

Work period: 01.12.2026-31.03.2027. Later start possible to arrange.

Working Scheme Variable shifts between 8:00 and 18:15, between 4 and 10 hours daily, usually ca 7.5 hours daily. Occasionally work at other times (for private tours). 100 % position - on average: 37.5 h/week, 2 days free for each week of work, work during the weekends.

We have one 100% position available and one 20% position. For the right candidates we can also consider different percentages.
