Are you an experienced Electrical Package Manager looking for your next challenge?

We are seeking an Electrical Package Manager for a permanent position supporting a major large-scale construction project in the Northern Norway area. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and technically advanced electrical systems within one of the fastest-growing industrial sectors. You will take responsibility for the full electrical package, from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover.

About the Role

As an Electrical Package Manager, you will lead the delivery of the electrical scope on a major construction project. You will coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure that systems are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will oversee the work from design through installation and commissioning, monitor progress, resolve technical challenges, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical standards, and regulatory requirements. You will also have the authority to reject substandard work or materials and stop work if safety requirements are not being met.

The position is particularly suited to candidates with experience from large-scale construction, data center, industrial, energy, infrastructure, or other technically complex projects.

Candidates may be based locally in Northern Norway or elsewhere in Norway. Flexible work schedules are available, including:

  • Weekly commuting

  • 3 weeks on / 1 week off

  • 10 days on / 4 days off

Accommodation and travel related to the agreed rotation schedule are provided.

English is the working language on site, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates from diverse professional backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full electrical package from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover

  • Coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders, including interfaces with other construction and engineering disciplines

  • Monitor schedule, progress, quality, and safety, and ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Review and approve electrical designs, technical submissions, changes, documentation, reporting, and required approvals

  • Conduct inspections, resolve technical issues, and follow up defects, non-conformities, substandard work, materials, and corrective actions

  • Stop work when safety violations occur, implement improvements, and support safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery

Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical project or package management, including responsibility for electrical installations on large-scale construction, data center, industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects

  • Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and control systems, as well as electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Experience with electrical design, technical coordination, testing, commissioning, and control of schedule, quality, and safety

  • Proven ability to lead subcontractors and suppliers, supported by strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Professional or fluent English, both written and spoken

Advantageous Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline

  • Experience from data center projects or the delivery of mission-critical electrical infrastructure

  • Knowledge of BIM, construction management platforms, and electrical modelling, design, or project management tools

  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces and managing electrical system completion, commissioning, and handover

Who We Are Looking For
  • A confident and collaborative leader who takes ownership and coordinates teams, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively

  • Structured, organized, and able to manage several priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-moving project environment

  • Proactive and solution-oriented when identifying risks, resolving issues, and following up corrective actions

  • Quality- and safety-focused, with the ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising compliant delivery

  • A clear communicator who works effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We Offer
  • Permanent employment and long-term career opportunities within a growing organization

  • Responsibility for a major electrical package on a large, technically advanced construction project

  • Hands-on experience with complex, mission-critical electrical systems alongside skilled teams

  • Flexible work schedules, with accommodation and travel provided according to the agreed rotation schedule

  • A professional and multicultural project environment where you can contribute directly to safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery
