Security Engineering at Sportradar, Trondheim
-
Make security a normal part of how our engineers build software, from secure design and threat modelling to security reviews.
-
Put the right security checks into CI/CD: SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, infrastructure-as-code scanning and supply chain security.
-
Work with Platform Engineering to secure our cloud and Kubernetes environments.
-
Run vulnerability management based on risk, from deciding what matters most to seeing the fix shipped.
-
Help engineering teams build securely without slowing them down, including when they work with AI coding tools.
-
Be the person engineers come to with security questions, and give them answers they can act on.
-
Lead the team: strategy, roadmap, hiring and performance, while staying close to the technical work.
-
Be a trusted voice with engineering and technology leaders.
You like security best when it helps people ship good software, not when it gets in their way. You are happy working next to engineers, explaining the "why" and then rolling up your sleeves to fix things with them. You keep learning, and you care about getting things done in a global company.
-
Experience in DevSecOps, security engineering, application security or cloud security.
-
Good knowledge of CI/CD and modern development practice.
-
Experience securing cloud-native environments, preferably AWS, and working with Kubernetes and containers.
-
A solid grasp of vulnerability management and the OWASP Top 10.
-
A track record of working with engineering teams as an adviser and enabler.
-
Clear, confident communication in fluent English.
-
For the Senior Manager route: experience leading engineers, setting direction, running hiring and managing performance.
-
Nice to have: CSPM or KSPM tooling, AWS and GCP security, GitLab Ultimate, infrastructure as code, large enterprise experience, security certifications.
In your application, add a few lines on which route suits you better and why: Lead DevSecOps Engineer, or Senior Manager (leading a team while staying hands-on). If you are open to either, say so.

For this reason, we are an office-first business operating on a hybrid model, with team members working in the office five days a week to build relationships, exchange ideas, and grow together. If needed, there is a option for home office days.
