The role is based at Skretting’s headquarters in Stavanger, Norway. The work will take place in our innovative and radical Research Centre, the Skretting Bubble.
What you’ll do:
<ul><li>
You will work at the heart of our biotech operations, supporting research &amp; development of new products as well as advancing knowledge about aquatic animal health.
</li><li>
Conduct analytical tests within R&amp;D projects and support assessment of research results
</li><li>
Perform in vitro molecular biological (real-time PCR, microarray), biochemical, and cell culture assays
</li><li>
Support the implementation, development and validation of new bioassays
</li><li>
Record data, observations and conclusions accurately in relevant systems
</li><li>
Carry out calibration, first‑line maintenance and care of laboratory equipment
</li><li>
Propose improvements to quality, efficiency and laboratory processes
</li></ul>
What you bring:
<ul><li>
Holding a master’s degree in molecular biology /biochemistry/cellular biology/biotechnology/biomedicine
</li><li>
Experience from a R&amp;D laboratory environment
</li><li>
Experience with real-time PCR analyses
</li><li>
Experience in cell culture
</li><li>
Experience in experiment design and statistics is advantageous
</li><li>
Willingness to take responsibility and speak up when quality is at stake
</li></ul>
