Our Ship Management team manages and supervises about 50 ships and is fully integrated with fleet management, risk management, crewing and technology support.

We are strengthening the Ship Management department and are seeking next generation Marine Superintendents to join our positive and engaged work-environment to seek digital and sustainable solutions for the future. Safety is always first priority in our company.

As a Marine Superintendent/Marine Superintendent Trainee with our team, you will be exposed to different roles, tasks, and projects. We seek candidates who have a positive attitude, are willing to learn and are ready to take on challenges and contribute. To succeed in doing so, collaboration within and outside your department is essential.

TASKS:

As a Marine Superintendent/Trainee, you will be part of and receive training in the various tasks such as:

  • Odfjell safety culture program
  • Various vetting regimes
  • Event handling
  • Incident investigation
  • Use of the various it tools and databases
  • Communication with both vessels and customers
  • Rules and regulations for chemical tankers

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Deck Officer or other Marine/maritime education at Bachelor level
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluency in English (oral and written)

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Onboard experience from Chemical tankers
  • Knowledge of Ocimf SIRE and CDI inspection regime.
  • IT skills, use of power BI, or similar tools used to manage data

More experienced candidates will be considered as Marine Superintendent.
