Full-stack Developer -- Develop NODES Trading Platform

NODES is hiring a Full-stack Developer.

We are looking for a technically strong, hands-on and collaborative engineer who has the skillset to contribute to the overall solution we are developing. You have solid experience in system design, software development and modern delivery practices.

We do not expect the candidate to tick every box. If you have strong experience with cloud platforms and software development, and you are motivated to learn the energy-market domain, we would like to hear from you.

You will work across the full NODES Trading Platform, from customer-facing applications and backend services to cloud infrastructure, integrations, security and production operations.

Working in a cross-functional DevSecOps product team, you will help improve the platform we operate today and shape the technical foundation we build on next.

This is a hands-on role with meaningful ownership.

You will influence solutions from early design through production, contribute to architectural and technical decisions, and help us continuously improve scalability, availability, performance and security.

In this role, you will work across software development, product functionality, cloud infrastructure and reliable platform operations.

You will not be limited to implementation tasks.

We expect you to contribute ideas, challenge existing solutions constructively and help improve how we design, build, test and operate the platform.

• Own development work from clarification and design through implementation, testing, deployment and follow-up.

• Design and build secure, reliable and maintainable full-stack solutions.

• Develop APIs, backend services, user interfaces and integrations with external systems.

• Contribute to cloud infrastructure and production operations.

• Improve architecture, automated testing, observability and CI/CD pipelines.

• Investigate production issues and strengthen platform stability, performance and security.

• Work with product, technology, energy-market specialists and customers to turn real needs into valuable functionality.

• Explore new technologies and contribute to innovation and continuous improvement.

• Developing web applications and backend services, preferably cloud-native on Microsoft Azure.

• C#/. NET or comparable backend technologies.

• Modern frontend development using Angular, Vue or a similar framework.

• Working in an agile, cross-functional development environment.

• Automated testing, secure development and maintainable software design.

• Event-driven or distributed systems.

• Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps or CI/CD.

• Monitoring and operating cloud services in production.

• Knowledge of the energy sector or energy-market systems.

• Strong written and spoken English.

• Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is an advantage.
