Lofothau AS is a fishing company that produces fresh cod heads during the winter season that are hung out on racks for drying. When these are dry, during the summer, they are taken into storage. After the summer, the work of sorting and packing the heads that are exported to Nigeria begins. Nigerians have for many years bought this protein-rich product, which they use in soups and stews.
The winter season in Lofoten/Northern Norway is the time of year when a lot of cod is fished off Lofoten, and there is a large supply of heads.
We therefore need seasonal workers from about 3 February and until the end of the winter season in the fisheries.
