At Laerdal, we are dedicated to making a difference and our mission is helping save lives. Our summer internships give students an opportunity to gain unique work experience in our way of working and our culture in a buzzing, collaborative environment where immersive technology is transforming healthcare education and quality. The program lasts for eight weeks, from June to August, in Stavanger.

The Opportunity
Our internships are designed to equip students of all backgrounds with the skills needed to thrive in tomorrow’s workplace. Through immersive placements in various areas, you will gain hands-on experience and the chance to work closely with cross-functional teams. Whether it is working on developing high-tech life-saving products or assisting our supply chain and manufacturing teams, you will learn from experts and contribute to meaningful projects.

Get hands-on experience in the heart of our supply chain! Whether working with sourcing and suppliers or logistics and shipping, you’ll use data, improve processes and contribute to smarter, more sustainable supply chain operations.

Use your tech skills to make an impact! Join either our QCPR Apps or Laerdal Global Health team and work hands-on with software, web, mobile or AI development. You’ll contribute to real projects and technology with the potential to help save lives.

Help drive our marketing efforts by working on projects related to content creation, eCommerce, and brand strategy. You’ll contribute to Laerdal’s global presence by collaborating with internal teams and distributors.

4***. Hardware Product Development***

Get hands-on experience developing high-tech medical products. From prototype development to product testing, you’ll play a key role in engineering solutions for real-world challenges.

Help improve collaboration and decision-making across product teams by identifying process gaps and proposing solutions through service design and business analysis.

Collaborate with factory teams to identify and implement improvements, ideal for hands-on makers with a passion for engineering and prototyping.

7***. Sustainability***

Help turn sustainability ambitions into action! You’ll contribute to areas such as climate accounting, CSRD, circular solutions and stakeholder engagement, while exploring trends and best practices in sustainability.

8.Sales, Marketing & Services

Get hands-on experience across sales, marketing and business development. You’ll work across teams on projects supporting the Norwegian market, international distributors, and military customers, with tasks tailored to your interests and skills.

Working in a modern analytics environment built around Databricks and Fabric, you will explore both traditional analytics and AI-powered conversational analytics, where users can interact with data through natural language to uncover insights and answer business questions.

Play a crucial role in helping us find sustainable initiatives and solutions to reducing our carbon footprint.

What you will be doing
As a summer intern at Laerdal, you will be immersed in real-world projects that contribute to our mission of helping save lives. You’ll join a diverse, cross-functional team and gain hands-on experience in your chosen field---whether that’s software and data solutions, hardware physical platforms, product and design, business analytics, supply chain and manufacturing, strategic sourcing, or communication and marketing. Throughout the eight-week program, you’ll collaborate with experts, participate in team meetings, and contribute to meaningful work that impacts healthcare education and quality. Your tasks will be designed to give you valuable industry insights, practical skills, and a strong foundation for your future career.

We’re looking for motivated students who are:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fields.

• Available for 6--8 weeks during the summer of 2027.

• Eager to contribute, learn, and work in cross-functional teams.

• Enthusiastic about our mission and excited to gain hands-on experience.

• A meaningful job!
