kta naval systems is a joint venture owned by KONGSBERG, TKMS and TKMS ATLAS ELEKTRONIK. As the exclusive supplier and Design Authority, we are responsible for the complete combat systems delivered to TKMS submarines.

As our operations continue to grow, we are strengthening our team and are currently seeking system engineers to drive the successful design and development of the ORCCA combat system and help shape the future of submarine operations.

YOU WILL: 

• Participate in the design and development of the ORCCA combat system
• Coordinate technical topics with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to system architecture and interface definitions
• Support the specification and follow-up of subsystems from external partners
• Assist with system integration, testing, verification, and validation activities

YOU BRING:

• A degree in Systems Engineering/related technical discipline, or comparable relevant experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across teams
• A structured and analytical approach to problem-solving 
• An interest in complex, interdisciplinary systems
• Fluent English (business language), plus Norwegian or German depending on location

Experience or academic exposure in one or more of the following is an advantage: 

• Submarine, military, or other complex technical systems
• Network architectures, information security, or cyber security
• Communication systems, transmission methods, or optical and acoustic sensors
• Model-based design
• Integrated Logistical Support (ILS)
