Kitemillis a Norwegian company developing airborne wind systems.
Kitemill designs and builds tether-based airborne platforms that stay aloft on wind energy alone.
Our aircraft combine vertical take-off and landing, power generation in flight, and onboard payload power --- enabling a persistent, high-altitude station-keeping capability that no diesel generator, mast, or tethered drone can match.
We are patented, flight-proven, and moving from engineering milestones into first commercial lease deployments.
We see two customer worlds converging on the same airframe:
ISR and critical-infrastructure surveillance --- defense, military, border and coast-guard, fire services, and owners of pipelines, grids, and ports who need persistent aerial awareness without a runway, a crew rotation, or a fuel line.
Energy --- utilities and energy developers procuring clean generation in places where towers, diesel, or grid connections fail the economics.
