Would you like to combine reservoir engineering with real influence on asset and investment decisions?

Kistos Energy (Norway) is looking for two experienced Senior Reservoir Engineers to join its team in Oslo.

You will work across reservoir management, production forecasting, reserves and resource evaluation, field development and M&A.

As a non-operating partner, Kistos develops its own technical understanding of the assets and uses this to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and contribute to licence decisions.

In a small organisation, you will work closely across disciplines and be expected to combine reservoir engineering expertise with an understanding of the wider technical and commercial picture.

The role also involves interaction with colleagues across the Kistos Group, particularly in areas such as corporate reserves reporting, business development and M&A.

• Perform reservoir engineering studies and analysis to support reservoir management and field development decisions

• Prepare short- and long-term production forecasts and Life-of-Field evaluations

• Review operator proposals and provide independent assessments of development, drilling and completion activities

• Analyse reservoir, well and production data and identify key uncertainties, risks and opportunities

• Develop and maintain reservoir models and perform uncertainty assessments where required

• Work closely with geoscience, wells, production, facilities and commercial disciplines to develop integrated asset evaluations

• Represent Kistos in licence committees, particularly Reservoir Committees (RC)

• Prepare reserves and resource assessments and contribute to corporate reserves reporting

• Provide reservoir engineering expertise in business development and M&A, including evaluation of potential assets

• Collaborate with relevant colleagues across the Kistos Group, particularly in connection with corporate reserves reporting, business development and M&A evaluations

• Master's degree in Reservoir Engineering or another relevant discipline

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience from the E&P industry

• Minimum five years of experience from the Norwegian Continental Shelf

• Broad reservoir engineering experience, including reservoir management and field development

• Experience with reservoir modelling and simulation

• Experience from licence work and Reservoir Committees (RC) is highly valued

• Strong data and digital skills, including Excel and relevant reservoir engineering tools

• Good written and spoken English and Norwegian
