As a Financial Reporting Consultant, you will work on design, definition, and implementation projects and consulting assignments of consolidation and disclosure management solutions for our customers.

Your duties may include advisory, requirements definition, technical configuration, and modeling of solution’s technical architecture, as well as maintenance and small development tasks for the customer’s existing solutions.

You get to develop our customers’ consolidation and financial reporting processes, and pontentially also grow into helping our customers with planning, analysis and forecasting, and apply your knowledge in a wide range of fields with professional colleagues and leading companies in the Northern European countries.

To be successful in this role, you have an education and work experience in finance or financial technology, and an interest in using technology to enable efficient financial close, reporting and planning.

You enjoy working with customers and immersing yourself in customer projects and assignments.

You can communicate fluently with the management and financial experts of customer organizations.

You are able to quickly understand the customer’s business and form a picture of the customer’s needs.

Your good interaction and cooperation skills help us and our customers to achieve the jointly agreed goals leading to common success.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Relevant work experience in finance, accounting, auditing and/or management accounting, and preferably in a consulting role

• Knowledge of consolidation methods and processes and/or statutory reporting methods and processes, i.e. ESEF/ESMA reporting, IFRS16, financial close management, disclosure management, finance master data management

• Experience with financial reporting, consolidation and/or disclosure management technologies, for example: IBM Controller, Certent Disclosure Management, Tagetik, Oracle HFM, SAP BPC, Clausion FPM, OneStream

• Willingness and readiness to adopt new technologies

• Interest in working as a consultant and implementing solutions for our customers.

• It's worth noting that this role is hands-on technology consulting and not only advisory type of role.

• Fluent in spoken and written English and in addition, your everyday working language will be Norwegian

• Knowledge of or experience with planning technologies, for example: IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Jedox, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights/Workday

• Eye for visual layouts and details, and precise way of working

• Knowledge of CSRD, ESRS, and/or ESG reporting

Your location will be in Oslo and the position is full-time and permanent. The work will start flexibly according to our mutual agreement.
