In this role, you will join a highly skilled technical environment working closely with both software and hardware, where safety, security and quality are central to everything we do. As a supplier of safety-critical systems to the aviation industry, we apply established methods for development and analysis within functional safety and cybersecurity. You will contribute to developing and improving our safety and security processes, and help ensure that our products meet both current and future requirements and standards.

A glimpse into the role
Remote tower technology enables air traffic to be managed from a digital control tower, where information from cameras, radar, flight plans and weather data is brought together in one operational interface. When a new function is further developed or introduced into the solution, we need to understand how that change affects safety, security, requirements and standards.
What happens if critical information arrives too late, is displayed incorrectly or is missing? In this role, you will work closely with developers and systems engineers to analyse risk, assess requirements and document that new technology can be introduced safely and securely.

• Perform safety and security analyses related to changes in existing products.
• Document safety and security work in line with relevant and emerging standards.
• Improve and further develop procedures, processes and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with cross-functional development teams within both software and hardware.
• Participate in projects, including customer meetings, audits and follow-up with external stakeholders.
• Help strengthen common working methods for safety- and security-related work.

• A bachelors or masters degree, preferably in engineering, computer science/ICT, electronics, systems engineering, safety and/or security.
• Experience with safety and reliability analyses, such as hazard analyses, FMEA, FHA, PSSA/SSA or similar methods.
• Experience from Air Traffic Management or another aviation-related field is an advantage, but not a requirement. We will provide the training and support you need. What matters most is your interest in safety and security.
• A good understanding of structured safety work in technical environments, preferably from software, hardware or systems development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian or English. Good written English is required.
