As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in redesigning and modernizing our booking ecosystem.

You will:

• Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performing backend services
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Claude Code to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards for code quality and security
• Help shape how the team adopts and gets the most out of AI tools in our development workflow
• Build and maintain APIs that support customer-facing products and business-critical integrations
• Contribute to the evolution of our cloud-native architecture on Azure
• Collaborate with architects, frontend engineers, product teams, and DevOps specialists
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement
• Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decision-making
• Mentor and support fellow engineers through knowledge sharing and collaboration
• Help improve system reliability, observability, performance, and resilience

Our Technology Stack

• 5+ years of backend development experience in SaaS or enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in .NET and API development
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in professional development, with a critical eye for reviewing and validating generated code
• Experience designing and building distributed systems and microservices
• Solid understanding of cloud-native development, preferably within Azure
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployments
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and modern software architecture patterns
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and passion for engineering excellence

• Experience modernizing legacy platforms
• Experience with agentic coding workflows, such as delegating larger tasks to AI agents and reviewing their output effectively
• Experience establishing practices or guidelines for responsible AI tool use in engineering teams
• Experience working in high-transaction systems
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture
• A genuine interest in balancing technical excellence with business value
• Ability to influence technical decisions and lead by example
