Are you an experienced, safety-conscious and service-minded bus driver looking for a seasonal opportunity in Norway?

Hop On AS is recruiting professional bus drivers for the 2027 summer season. We are looking for reliable, customer-focused drivers who take pride in providing passengers with a safe, welcoming and high-quality travel experience.

As a bus driver at Hop On AS, you will be an important part of both our daily operations and our guests’ experience. You will transport passengers safely, assist guests when needed and represent Hop On AS in a professional and positive manner.

Your responsibilities

• Drive passengers safely and professionally in accordance with planned routes, timetables, traffic regulations and company procedures.
• Deliver friendly, helpful and professional customer service.
• Contribute to a safe, positive and welcoming experience for our guests.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report faults, incidents and deviations.
• Follow operational instructions and communicate effectively with the operations team.
• Handle unexpected situations calmly, safely and professionally.
• Represent Hop On AS in a positive, responsible and service-minded way.

We are looking for you if you

• Hold a valid Category D driving licence.
• Hold valid professional driver qualifications for passenger transport, including CPC/YSK where applicable.
• Have at least three years of documented experience as a bus or coach driver.
• Have a good driving record and can meet the requirements for a Norwegian driver permit for professional passenger transport (kjøreseddel).
• Are reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable taking responsibility.
• Have strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Remain calm, professional and solution-oriented in busy or unexpected situations.
• Speak and understand English well. Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is an advantage, but not required.
• Are available to work during the 2027 season, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Are available to attend a practical driving assessment and complete required documentation in Oslo during the pre-season period.

Applicants living outside Norway

We welcome applications from candidates who are citizens of, or legally resident in, an EU/EEA country.

Before starting work, successful candidates must meet the Norwegian requirements for professional passenger transport. This includes approval of the relevant driving licence and professional qualifications, health documentation, conduct/background checks and a Norwegian kjøreseddel.

Candidates selected for the next stage will be invited to Oslo during the pre-season period for:

• A practical driving assessment.
• Verification of driving licence, CPC/YSK and other relevant qualifications.
• A medical examination and required health documentation.
• Guidance with the application for a Norwegian kjøreseddel.
• Any additional checks or documentation required by Norwegian authorities.

Hop On AS will provide guidance and practical support throughout this process. Final approval of driving documents, qualifications and the kjøreseddel is made by the relevant Norwegian authorities.

Applicants from outside the EU/EEA cannot be considered for this recruitment process.
