Head Energy is looking for a skilled/experienced _Installation Manager Pnr: 23728 Job Description:
  • Overall Planning Responsibility Across Workstreams: Responsible for ensuring that the plans developed by the installation team and installation partner support the overall CBTC rollout schedule.
  • Support to the Lead Planner and Construction Manager: Provide professional planning support during the development and revision of high-level project plans for the CBTC rollout.
  • Installation Partner Management: Act as the primary point of contact for planning-related follow-up of the installation partner's project management team. Serve as the escalation point for planning issues and contractual obligations related to the installation workstreams. Support the Construction Manager in managing the installation partner at leadership level, including participation in steering committees.
  • Progress Monitoring: Support site managers in tracking progress within individual workstreams. Report overall installation progress to the Construction Manager and Lead Planner.
  • Leadership: Support the Construction Manager in leading the installation team and fostering strong collaboration across teams, with the installation partner, subcontractors, and Sporveien.
  • Deputy Role: Act as deputy for the Construction Manager when required or during periods of absence.
Qualifications:
  • Technical education as an Engineer, Technical College Engineer, or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the same or similar role
  • Experience in construction supervision, site management, inspection, or project monitoring within similar projects.
  • Experience from railway/metro projects and signaling, telecommunications, or electrical works is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of technical requirements, specifications, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with projects operating under strict HSE and safety requirements.
  • Experience with BIM tools and other systems used for systematic project completion is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English.

  • Ability to work independently in a demanding project environment.
  • Confident in a supervisory/control role, with a clear understanding of responsibilities and authority.
