Assistant Rig Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Rig Manager to join our team.
Tasks and responsibilities:- Assisting and relieving the Rig Manager in the management of the rig.
- Ensure the rig is operated in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, quality systems, maintenance programs, contractual commitments and budget.
- Rig Performance Process (Lessons Learned)
- Riser, tubular and drilling equipment management and logistics ensuring valid certification
- Manage rig move preparations and facilitate rig move meetings
- Manage the onshore logistics requirements for the rig
- Attend Client meetings and follow up 3rd party requirements for the rig
- Ensure that operations are conducted according to contract
- Continuously develop, improve and strengthen the organisation along with performance of work
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on drilling operations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of drilling procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in drilling operations.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English(spoken and written).
