The Digital Engineer is responsible for developing the technical and operational capability required to support SLB services in Stavanger.

The position prepares and supports the delivery of safe, reliable and efficient solutions, works with experienced engineers and specialists, and assists operational and customer-facing teams.

Successful position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well both independently and in a team.

• Support the delivery and continuous improvement of digital services.

• Work with operational and technical data to create useful insights.

• Configure, test and troubleshoot digital solutions.

• Contribute to data quality, documentation and technical reporting.

• Support users and translate operational needs into practical digital solutions.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Geology, Geoscience, Geophysics or another relevant discipline.

• Programming, analytics, automation or data-handling competence relevant to the position.

• Interest in applying digital technology to operational and customer challenges.
