Industrial Pipefitters – Ermeto / Hydraulic Tubing
About the opportunity
We are looking for experienced Industrial Pipefitters specializing in Ermeto hydraulic tubing systems for long-term shipyard projects in Norway.
The work involves precision tube bending, hydraulic pipe assembly, installation of mechanical tube fittings and working from technical drawings.
We are particularly interested in candidates with practical experience in shipbuilding, offshore fabrication, hydraulic installations or industrial piping systems.
Your responsibilities
- Bend and prepare hydraulic tubing using Tubomat or equivalent tube-bending machines.
- Operate EO2 assembly machines or equivalent equipment for hydraulic tube connections.
- Install Ermeto fittings, compression fittings and industrial tubing systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and installation specifications.
- Identify different tubing materials, including alloy steel and stainless steel.
- Select appropriate fittings, components and materials independently.
- Ensure accurate installations and follow workplace safety procedures.
Required qualifications
- Documented practical experience with industrial hydraulic tubing or Ermeto systems.
- Experience operating tube-bending machines.
- Familiarity with EO2 or comparable hydraulic tube-connection systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Knowledge of industrial pipe fittings and tubing materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic working English preferred; English communication capability is required within each team.
Important: This position is intended for experienced industrial pipefitters, not general residential plumbing specialists.
