Introduction:
We are looking for an experienced Control System Software Engineer to join a leading engineering environment working with advanced subsea technologies. The role involves development and delivery of control system software for complex subsea systems in a highly collaborative and innovative setting.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>
Design, implement, and test control system software for subsea systems
</li><li>
Perform modifications and upgrades to delivered control systems (aftermarket activities)
</li><li>
Participate in component, functional, system, and interface testing
</li><li>
Work closely with suppliers during testing at supplier locations
</li><li>
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across all project phases
</li><li>
Support implementation and handover of control system software for subsea products and systems
</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>
BSc or MSc in Automation, Cybernetics, Computer Science/IT, or a related engineering field
</li><li>
4--8 years of relevant industry experience
</li><li>
Experience with PLC-based control systems is a strong advantage
</li><li>
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
</li></ul>

Nice to have:

Experience with Rockwell Automation products (e.g. Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk View HMI)
</li><li>
Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware)
</li><li>
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
</li><li>
Knowledge of HTML5 and modern visualization tools
</li><li>
Experience using AI tools to support development
</li><li>
Understanding of software testing and quality assurance
</li><li>
Knowledge of IT/networking and industrial cybersecurity
</li></ul>
