Join Activate Games as a Team Leader

Are you an inspiring, people-oriented leader who brings out the best in those around you? We are now looking for energetic and positive Team Leaders to join Activate Games Bærum. As part of the leadership team at a recently opened venue, you will play an important role in shaping daily operations, building a strong team culture, and helping us deliver an outstanding experience every single day.

• Ensure smooth daily operations and strong team performance
• Coach, support and motivate team members to succeed in a positive environment
• Maintain excellent guest experience and high service quality
• Handle challenges and complaints with a calm and solution-oriented mindset, and escalate when needed
• Manage daily routines including online booking systems, reporting, group reservations, and general maintenance and cleanliness to keep operational standards high
• Serve as the key link between the team and management
• Spot opportunities and take ownership to improve operations, efficiency, and guest experience

In addition to daily leadership responsibilities, each Team Leader will take ownership of a specific operational focus area based on their skills, experience, and interests.

Examples of focus areas include:

• Drive group sales, corporate bookings and birthday parties
• Coordinate events and seasonal campaigns
• Lead customer communication via phone and email
• Ensure a smooth and memorable guest journey from first inquiry to final goodbye

• Lead recruitment, scheduling, onboarding and team communications
• Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
• Help build a positive and high-performing team culture
• Analyze operational challenges and implement improvements to support performance

• Oversee inventory, merchandise and facility upkeep
• Ensure rooms, equipment and materials are operational and guest-ready
• Manage stock levels, deliveries and operational supplies

• A positive and energetic people person who genuinely enjoys customer-facing work
• A natural leader who gets satisfaction from coaching and motivating others
• Someone who takes ownership and wants to develop both people and operations
• A calm problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with hands-on operational tasks
• Experience in customer service, and preferably some leadership background
• Fluent in Norwegian, and good English is an advantage
• Available to work evenings and weekends
• Development-minded and interested in growing into broader leadership roles as Activate expands

• Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
• This is a shift-based role with rotating schedules, including daytime, evening, public holidays and every other weekend as a regular part of your working hours

• Salary based on agreement and experience, aligned with a junior leadership position
