History
It all started when Ole Dysjaland, founder of Hekkan Burger, wanted to create a simpler, smash-style burger that captured the essence of his beloved original but in a simpler, faster form. His goal? A burger so good that it could thrive in spaces where a full Hekkan Burger restaurant wasn’t possible.
Born and raised on the farmlands of Sola, Ole’s culinary journey started early, fueled by a deep respect for local produce and traditional craftsmanship. With over 20 years of experience, his obsession with quality runs deep. Ole’s relentless pursuit of perfection has taken him around the world, tasting, testing, and tweaking recipes until every detail hits just right. He’s not just a chef---he’s a creator, constantly driven by curiosity and an unwavering belief that food should be an experience.
After years of traveling and testing, Ole had one realization: a great burger comes down to two essentials---perfect meat and fresh bread. That's why OUCH focuses on daily fresh, high-quality beef and buns baked from the best ingredients. No shortcuts. No comprises.
Vision
The vision for OUCH is clear: make fast food better. Ole wanted to take the convenience of traditional fast food---the speed, the simplicity---and elevate it with the best ingredients and preparation. Fast, yes, but also handcrafted, delicious, and made with passion. This is fast food reimagined, where the quality of the produce speaks for itself and every bite leaves you craving more.
On October 4, 2024, OUCH opened its doors in Løkkeveien, marking the beginning of a new chapter in fast food---a place where the ultimate burger is no longer just a dream, but a reality. And this is only the start.
