Onix is a Norwegian software company specializing in equipment compliance management systems (ECMS).
The company was founded around a mission to transform global workplace safety through digital collaboration.
Today, Onix ensures compliance and peace of mind for thousands of equipment owners, inspectors and suppliers across the globe through its open ECMS platform, Onix Work.
The Onix team consists of over 70 employees across office in Stavanger (HQ), Oslo, Bergen and Ho Chi Minh City.
The Nordic Software Investor Viking Growth invested in Onix in 2023 and the company is now experiencing an exciting period of growth and international expansion. A new CEO, Andreas Nordsjö, joined the team earlier in 2026 to lead the development of Onix into a global leader for equipment compliance management across energy, maritime, power and construction industries.
Onix is already well on the way to this goal. Its software actively manages over 12 million pieces of equipment for over 80,000 users across 29 countries.
