N2 Applied is a Norwegian technology company dedicated to improving global food production through innovative, sustainable solutions. We have developed a patented plasma technology that enables local fertiliser production, with air and electricity as the main input factors. By moving fertiliser production to the end-user, we shorten value chains, reduce dependence on fossil-fuel-based chemical fertilisers, and strengthen the resilience of the global food system.
Our solution can be integrated into farms or industrial operations seeking electricity-based nitrogen fertiliser production. By mimicking natural lightning, our plasma process creates a clean alternative to conventional fertilisers while addressing major environmental challenges.
N2 Applied has an international team with expertise in science, engineering, agriculture and business development. Our headquarters are in Asker, with a technology centre in Svene (Kongsberg), and presence in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
